Where a violation has been committed that primarily impacts the performance of an individual rider, such as a HRM violation or isolated incidence of an illegal pedalling technique, the rider in question will be removed from that individual race.
Where a violation primarily impacts the performance of the team as a whole, such as illegal pedalling technique through the entire race that impacts the whole race dynamic, or an ineligible rider being fielded, the whole team will be disqualified.
Penalties will be escalated on a # strikes in a given period. However we do reserve the right to impose a longer suspension or lifetime ban immediately for anything race control deem gross misconduct.
Riders will only be re-admitted after a ban if Race Committee is confident the rider has resolved their issues.

Where a rider has a combination of multiple minor and major infringements, race control will exercise discretion in applying appropriate sanctions.
Note that as an interim measure, any rider who races in a ladder race without a ZR rank, and goes on to gain a rank from that race, will receive a short 10 day suspension, this is to stop the practice of unranked riders “racing anyway to get a ranking”. In an instance where ZR correctly prevents this rider from gaining a rank, no suspension will be required.
