We are currently gathering interest in women's club ladder. Presently we do not have enough interest to have the ladder opened immediately, interested teams should sign up to be placed on the waiting list and as soon as we have sufficient teams to set this up, we will notify you to complete the signup process. We anticipate being able to set the ladder up 2-3 weeks after receiving enough interest, so only sign up if your team is ready to race in the coming weeks.

Please ensure you have familiarised yourself with the remainder of the rule book before signing up. Details of how the women’s ladder will operate is below (along with sign up).

Structure

Women’s ladders will be structured as part of the overall ladder structure, meaning they can choose to participate as part of the wider regional or global ladder should they wish to.

Upon entering, each team will select one of the following categories:

• Mixed: Part of the mixed ladder.
• Women’s Team: Included in the main regional and global ladder for challenges with mixed teams.
• Women’s Only: Only visible, and therefore able to challenge or be challenged by other women’s teams in their region.

Rule Differences

We believe that most of the current rule book is directly applicable to the women’s leagues, with a couple of tweaks:

• Teams will be bound by a 3 rank spread of ZR Women’s max 30D rank. For women’s teams, any time in the rule book where we currently refer to “rank”, it will mean “Women’s Max 30 day rank”.
• Once on the ladder, teams can toggle between “mixed”, “women’s team” and “women’s only” during a transfer window only.
• Short term we would remove play on requirements for women’s teams, and allow riders to transfer from existing teams in order to get the league set up more quickly. Once the initial intake of teams was done, Play On would become active as normal and women’s leagues would have to abide by the same transfer restrictions.
